A while ago I wrote an article in regard to keeping your skin clear. I mentioned the benefits of fruit acids. They act as a m=natural peeling agent and slough off the dead skin cells, resulting in a brighter and clearer complexion. While Chemical Peels in Abu Dhabi have been all the rage and they can transform your skin like no other, some people prefer a more natural alternative. This article is for all of you out there.
What is a chemical peel? Chemical peels treatment in Abu Dhabi or elsewhere involves applying a solution to the surface of your skin. They are available in different strengths; superficial, medium and deep peel. Glycolic acid peels are used to simply better the condition of the skin while stronger peels like trichloroacetic acid or phenol are used to treat scarring and wrinkles. If you have some serious problems with your skin, then the only way to treat them is by visiting a professional and getting a chemical peels treatment in Abu Dhabi. But, if you simply wish to better the condition of your skin, homemade peels will work just fine for you.
Why do a homemade chemical peel? A homemade chemical peel is a much safer option than all the store bought versions. You can control the ingredients and know what exactly is going on to your skin. I like to do a Chemical Peel once a month just to be sure there is nothing left behind on my skin after my normal beauty routine. Don't overdo it as it can do more harm than good.
Natural Homemade Chemical Peel Here is a list of ingredients you will need for the treatment: 1 cucumber, pureed1 Tbsp. of gelatin, the unflavored kind¼ tsp. powdered meat tenderizera pinch of powdered cinnamonDirections Add all the ingredients together into a blender. Add a little water if the mixture is too thick. let it sit for a few minutes and apply it to your face and neck. Let it dry for a period of 15 to 20 minutes and then peel it off. Doing it once a month is fine but if you do this more than that, it will lead to irritated skin. As always, try to do a patch test before using the treatment all over your face and skin. Make sure to apply a moisturizer after the treatment. If you want to go even lighter than this, you can choose a papaya and cinnamon peel. Simply mash one papaya and add a pinch of cinnamon to it. Let it sit in the refrigerator for half an hour. Apply it to your face with a clean makeup brush and wait for about twenty minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Will it work on scars and fine lines? Well, as I stated earlier, this is only an extension to your skin care routine. It will make it look clear and it will feel a lot softer but it won't correct any dramatic skin issues. For that, you'll have to visit a dermatologist and get the right treatment done for your unique skin type. I hope you try this out and let me know how well this natural chemical peel worked for you.
